Climate change has a direct impact on the earth biosphere and the effect is making it so hard for species to adjust to changes in temperature and water cycles.  

The biosphere and its component, over some thousands of years ago have enjoyed some stability, but today human activities have greatly affected its flow. Human activities such as deforestation and burning of fossil fuels have negatively affected the environment in such that it has directly affected the biosphere.

Carbon dioxide and the discharge of various pollutants have affected all kinds of life forms in the biosphere.  The major problem facing the biosphere is greenhouse gas emission which results into global warming.  

This can cause increase in flood and drought, which could lead to famine. Land use changes are also one of the major sources of greenhouse gas emission.  

For example, the carbon dioxide previously stored in trees or locked up in the soil is discharged into the atmosphere during deforestation.  

The Earth biosphere is also called ecosphere. It refers to the sum of all the components of the earth that support life.  It is grouped into 5 different categories called biomes, which include aquatic zones, tundra’s, deserts, forests and grassland.
