What are the weaknesses or inaccuracies in the
model the student created?

The model doesn’t clearly show that gas exchange happens in the alveoli through the capillaries. The model can also be easily misinterpreted. Because the model doesn’t show where this gas exchange is taking place, it looks like the blood picks up oxygen, delivers it to the body, and then comes back and expels the carbon dioxide it collects. Clarifying that this gas exchange is taking place in the capillaries would eliminate this confusion.
