Pseudoscorpions are small arachnids, less than one centimeter in length, that look like scorpions. They are different from scorpions because they do not have stingers. Some species of pseudoscorpions hide themselves under the wing covers of large beetles, such as the Harlequin beetle. This gives the pseudoscorpion protection from predators, and provides them with a means of transportation over a larger area. The pseudoscorpions are able to move to new areas without being noticed by the beetle. The graph sets included illustrate the three types of symbiotic relationships - mutualism, commensalism and parasitism: Identify the type of symbiosis that is represented in the text and select the graph set that best illustrates the relationship between the pseudoscorpion and the beetle. Construct an explanation that identifies and explains the symbiotic relationship.
