A. De-oxygenated blood exits through the pulmonary artery and travels to the lungs to pick up

oxygen and get rid of carbon dioxide

B. Oxygenated blood in the left ventricle leaves through the body’s main artery, the aorta, and

travels throughout the body

C. De-oxygenated blood from the body enters the heart through the right atria, then right

ventricle
