It seems so crazy that a scientist, even an early one, would believe that organisms could appear from spontaneous generation. In addition, scientist supported the claim of life

arising from non-life based on experiment without using a control group. Since

then, scientists have collected further evidence that could also be used to show

experiments supporting spontaneous generation as not being valid.

What current scientific evidence would help to disprove the outcome of the theory of

spontaneous?

Conditions on earth about 4 billion years ago would not support a multicellular, oxygen breathing organism.

The multitude of collisions with meteors would not contribute to the development of life.

Scientist discovered plants appeared on earth first.

The chemicals on earth at this time are not found in multicellular organism.

Suppose that on a small island off the coast of scotland, 32 percent of the population has blue eyes, which means that these individuals must be homozygous for the blue eye color gene (bb). the only other eye color found on the island is brown, and individuals that are homozygous for the brown eye color gene (bb) or heterozygous (bb) will have brown eyes because brown is the dominant gene. assume this population is in hardy-weinberg equilibrium. if 100 babies are born next year, how many of these would you expect to have brown eyes and be heterozygous? a. 58 b. 49 c. 29 d. 43
