A baby plant starts to grow. Many samples of cells are collected from the leaves of plant and are viewed under a microscope. All of the cells looked like the model below. Use the model to make a claim about how healthy you think the plant is and how long you expect it to live. Your claim should include answers to each of these questions: Is there anything wrong with the cells from this plant that might cause it to be sick? If so, what is wrong?
What effects will whatever is happening in the cell have on the plant? What symptoms do you think the plant would be experiencing because of what is happening in its cells?
