What is DNA and why is it such a big deal to change an organism’s DNA?

DNA Stands for Deoxyribonucleic acid and is the bodys' chemical blueprint. Changeing an organisms DNA can make the organism produce too much or too little protiens and can be fatal if the mutation/chance is significant enough.
