The subject of Earth and Space Science is a vast topic. The subject reaches from the depths of the ocean floor, to the fossils and minerals within the rocks you stand on, to the furthest point beyond our galaxy, and everything in between. Whether they’re studying the weather or natural resources here on Earth, or modeling future climatic changes and space missions, scientists that study topics within the field of Earth and Space Science make critical discoveries about the past, current, and future Earth.
Think of a topic of interest to you within the subject of Earth and Space Science. How might the daily activities of a scientist studying that topic or field differ from a chemist, physicist, or biologist? How might it be the same?
