A group of students participated in a lab to investigate the effects of osmosis. On day- soaked the egg in vinegar for 24 hours to remove its shell.
On day 2, the students massed the
shell-
less egg and placed the egg in corn syrup to soak for 24 hours. On day 3, the students
removed the egg from the corn syrup, massed the egg, and then placed the egg in disti
soak for 24 hours.
The results are summarized in the table below.
