My thoughts are that we are the only sentient lifeforms in all of the universe. Although, I do believe that there are non-sentient lifeforms on other planets.

My example is that we sent out tardigrades, Deinococcus, and other bacteria out into space, and they survived for a while without any outside help.

What am I trying to say here? I'm saying that there could be life outside of our humble planet, just non-sentient life.
