Sympathetic nervous system makes the body ready to fight or fight response during any danger in the body.

Parasympathetic nervous system slow the body from performing too much work there by restoring the body to calm and composed state

The sympathetic nervous system originate from the spinal cord and and it's is responsible for accelerateing the heart rate, constricting blood vessels, and raising blood pressure. Thereby preparing the body to fight or fight response against any danger.

The parasympathetic nervous is a part of autonomic nervous system that also originate from the spinal cord which which slows the heart rate, increases intestinal and gland activity, and relaxes sphincter muscles. By doing this,it prevent the body from overworking itself and restore the body to a calm and composed state.
