Explanation:

La cadena trófica o red trófica es el proceso de paso de energia a través de diferentes organismos. Esta tranferencia energética ocurre cuando un animal se alimenta de otro organismo, y se convierte en alimento de un siguiente organismo.

En la clasificación de organismos de las cadenas tróficas podemos encontrar los siguientes eslabones:

Productores primarios: Son la base de las redes tróficas. Aquellos organismos de origen vegetal o animal que son capaces de sintetizar su propia materia orgánica a partir de materia inorgánica. Es decir, son organismos autótrofos. Consumidores primarios: Animales herbívoros que se alimentan de los productores primarios. Consumidores secundarios: Animales que se alimentan de los consumidores primarios. Se trata de animales carnívoros que se alimentan de los hervíboros. Consumidores terciarios: Se refieren a aquellos carnívoros que se alimentan de otros carnívoros. Muchas veces se los conoce como los grandes predadores.Descomponedores: Ultimo eslabon de la cadena trófica. Aquellos microorganismos que se encanrgan de degradar el tejido muerto de los distintos consumidores que van muriendo. Degradan la materia orgánica y la devuelven a la tierra.

Cada eslabón esta estrechamente relacionado con el naterior y con el posterior, de forma que la presencia o ausencia de alguno de ellos tiene una gran influencia sobre los demás. Cuando alguno de estos niveles desaparece, afecta al eslabón siguiente por implicar un decrecimiento en su fuente de alimento, pero significa un aumento poblacional del eslabón anterior, viendose beneficiado.
