FOG stands for 'fats, oils and grease'. It is present infood products such as lard, butter, animal fats,  vegetable oils, and dairy products.

FOG is prepared during the process of cooking and the washing up processes. When FOG is allowed n sewer pipes it can accumulates inside sewer pipes, so proper disposal method of FOG is required.

Some of the source of FOG and disposal methods are as following:

Cooking oil -  Allow the oil to be cooled and place it in a non-recyclable container such as plastic-lined paper containers.

Food Scraps: compost bin can be used to dispose FOG by putting all food scrap into it.

Salad dressing - If little maount of salad dressing is left, use a paper towel to clean it and it will absorb the left residue which can be easily dipose in garbage.

Dairy products such as milk - it can be disposed on-farm or to a proper disposal site otherwise it will affect groundsurface as it contain fat.

Hence, using above methods for disposing FOG will help to save envrionment.
