Dissection (as in cutting someone or something) helps better understand the world because we get to see how things work and how they connect, this can lead us to understand how we may be connected or/ and how our impact affects them/ it.
Dissection (detailed analysis of a text) helps us better understand the world around us because we can understand how the writer thinks of the world and this shows/ broadens our opinion on the world.
