Homeostasis is the condition or state of the body in which internal chemical and physical condition are maintained to restrict the changes affected by  external environment.

Like humans, plant and animal cells also undergo homeostasis for maintaining internal condition, such as:

cell membrane regulates the exchange of molecular substances and maintain internal chemical conditions. sucha as osmosis.Mitochondria function to produce energy and produces more energy when required.Vacuoles stores food for producing energy.elimination of waste material through excretory system of animals  and transpiration process (water loss) from plant leaves to maintain internal temperature.
