The dreaded pathogenic bacterium J. grocious makes an adhesion protein called FirD that allows the bacterium to infect the good citizens of Champaign (population = 80,000) and Urbana (population = 50,000). There are two allelic forms of >FirD. The FirD-1 allele encodes the form of the protein that allows strains of J. grocious to infect only those individuals with blue eyes. The FirD-2 allele encodes the form of the protein that allows strains of J. grocious to infect only those individuals whose eyes are NOT blue (i. e. all other possible eye colors, including orange eyes!!). Every person in Champaign-Urbana is infected with one of the two possible J. grocious strains, carrying either the FirD-1 or the FirD-2 allele (under the assumption that all individuals in Champaign-Urbana possess eye-color). If the allele frequency of the FirD-1 allele in the strains of J. grocious in the combined cities of Champaign-Urbana is 0.2, and 60,000 people in Champaign do NOT have blue eyes, then how many people in Urbana have blue eyes?
