How do infectious and noninfectious diseases differ

So an infectious disease is something that could infect others, and was most likely gotten from someone else... an example would be the disease causing the pandemic (its censored on ).

A noninfectious disease is something that is gotten indirectly... like diabetes which can be contracted through eating choices or heredity.
