1. What are two advantages of two disadvantages of hydropower?

Hydropower deals with the use of water in generating power or electricity. It makes use of water and some power turbines initiated by the speed of water.

Advantages of Hydropower-

1. It is renewable- Water is a good source of renewable energy due to it having a natural source which can be replaced by nature

2. It is safe and less hazardous- Water doesn’t emit pollutants and this makes the environment and atmosphere clean.

Disadvantages

1. It is expensive to set up- The turbines and other equipment are expensive.

2. It could cause Droughts : The large amount of water needed to power the turbines makes water scarce.
