Ozone is a layer which is present around the earth at a hight 20 to 30 kilometers from the earth surface. Ozone is present in the stratosphere. Main function of ozone is to protect the earth from harmful ultraviolet radiation that is coming from the sun. It act as a filtrate. If ozone layer is damaged, this ultraviolet radiation come to the earth and causes skin disease such as skin cancer.
