Nucleotide is a macromolecule from which DNA is composed.

DNA molecule is made up of nucleotide which is a macromolecule that is composed of a sugar, a phosphate, and a base. DNA molecule interact with a macromolecule named protein which helps in the formation of different types of substances which perform different functions in DNA.

The main purpose of interaction between the site and the protein is to perform various functions that is necessary for the functioning of the DNA such as DNA packing, replication and transcription of DNA etc. DNA site refers to a sequence of nucleotides that works as a binding sites for particular types of macromolecules.

DNA is a genetic material found in the nucleus of eukaryotic cells. It is composed of nitrogenous base, sugar molecule, and phosphate. The DNA molecule is a highly packed structure and perform various functions.

DNA is made up of nucleotides, which consists of purine, pyrimidines, and a sugar-phosphate backbone. The DNA are complex structures held together by structural proteins. The histones are the small basic proteins, which is involved in the DNA binding.

The function of histone are:

Histones belong to family of proteins, which interact with DNA to form condensed structure of chromatin. It provides structural support to the DNA. The DNA are the long molecules, which makes it difficult for them to fit into the nucleus. The histones tightly bind them by forming complexes like nucleosomes. DNA in the compact form or chromatin is then found in the nucleus.

Therefore, the DNA interacts with macromolecules protein, namely histone, and help in the condensation of the DNA.
