Because earth has natural cycles it goes through with ecosystems, and when we get involved with trying to help one spectrum of the natural world (rabbits for example) we hurt another (wolves, by over feeding, increasing the population, then exhausting the population of rabbits over a time.)

The activities of humans cannot impact one of the Earth's systems without influencing others. This is due to the fact that all the systems of the Earth are associated with each other. That is when one of the systems experiences even a slight change, the other systems, which are inter-associated will also get affected.

As the systems of the Earth are connected with each other, they interact with each other by moving matter from one system to the other. The modifications made to the atmosphere due to the activities done by humans will ultimately result in the changes in the hydrosphere and biosphere.
