Factors holding us back from benefiting from the technologies:

Space science is a huge branch of science that aims at utilizing the space and its huge reserves of resources in upbringing the standard and quality of lives on earth. But there are several factors that are getting on the way to apply them fully.

They are:

Budget: The technologies are heavily expensive and lacks adequate funding.  Availability of adequate technology: Science is ever improving, but presently still it lacks some of the technology that are required for a feasible experiment.  Manpower: Not much skilled astronauts are available for the space experiments.
