Ineed with these two questions, i've been trying to answer them for over a week now.
•define photosynthesis and cellular respiration. explain how they are alike and different. you can use the equations in your explanation.
•explain how photosynthesis and cellular respiration apply to the law of conservation of matter.

Photosynthesis and cellular respiration go hand and hand. Remember the two equations are just a reverse of the opposite equation. 

Cellular Respiration-
C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6O₂ (Yeilds or Makes) 6CO₂ + 6H₂O + ATP (Or Energy)

Photosynthesis-
6CO₂ + 6H₂O + ATP (Or Sunlight) (Yeilds or Makes) C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6O₂  

They are alike: They both are used to make a certain type of energy they need

Different: Cell Respiration, Glucose is used to make ATP, while photosynthesis uses ATP to make Glucose
