So the digestion system works in unison to get food from point A to point B and how this is done food enters mouth travels down esophagus then to stomach then the small intestine which bile and intestinal juices and the pancreases releases enzymes to break down food to Chyme with the small intestine absorbs and pushes to Large intestine then to rectum then anus then you have waste
