The inanimate components that affects the living beings in environment are known as abiotic components.

Explanation:

Water, sun rays , oxygen etc are known as the abiotic components that affects the functioning of living organism.  Water is the most essential factor without which there will be no life in our environment. Sunrays help in photosynthesis, and make the survival of plant life possible.

Oxygen helps us in breathing without which we won’t be able to live. Another abiotic component is soil, which helps plants to grow and determines the nature of plants.

tsd: it is a type of environmental sex determination in which the temperature experienced during embryonic/ larval development (ambient temperature for development) determine the sex of the offspring.
