The phenomenon which describes about the scattering of light by the colloidal solution, called as Tyndall effect. The separate particles present in the colloid, scatter and reflect the light which makes the rays visible.  

The phenomenon was first described by John Tyndall due to which the phenomenon is called as Tyndall effect. The light with longer wavelength is highly transmitted and the light with less wavelength is absorbed in this effect. This effect is observed in all the transmitting medium which has tiny particles in it.

if the hares very faster than they are now, and thus the lynx's hunting success rate drops because it will be harder to catch them, the rate that will change will be the pray-rate. the pray-rate will change because more hares will be able to survive, thus more individuals for reproduction, so the end result will be increasing population of hares.

the predator-rate will remain pretty much the same because there will be more than enough pray, but the hunting success rate is stagnant.
