Blood cells  are known as Consumers.

Blood cells are consumers because they take up the oxygen inhaled and

then distribute it to other parts of the body. They have a compound known as hemoglobin which helps to bind to the oxygen molecules.

They are also found in organisms such as animals who are classified as

consumers. They are absent in plants which are regarded as the producers of the ecosystem.
