How are the functions of chloroplasts and mitochondria linked? is this answer correct: the functions of chloroplasts and mitochondria are linked because they both perform complementary processes and are reactants of the other. the organelle chloroplast is the site of photosynthesis and produces the chemicals needed for cellular respiration. while the organelles mitochondria perform cellular transportation that produces the chemicals needed for photosynthesis.
