It releases water vapor, sulphur dioxide, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrogen fluoride and hydrogen chloride into the atmosphere. The released sulphur dioxide along with water vapor in the atmosphere produces sulphuric acid which condenses in the form of acid rain. The acid rain destroys the vegetation, building materials and causes delitorious effects to the aquatic body. It pollute the quality of water body hence results in mortality of aquatic animals.
