In which case is an inherited mutation most likely to be expressed? it will be expressed only if the mutation is present in the gametes. it will be expressed only if the mutation affects the germ line of the offspring. the offspring will not express the mutation but the next generation will. an inherited mutation will never be expressed because the offspring won't survive.
