Suppose you have your own website. is it okay for you to upload and share copyrighted music on your site without asking permission from the songwriter? why or why not? explain your reasoning.

I personally would say no and would get permission anyway as I do not know for certain if that person would want it or not. I myself am a fanfiction writer and have used lyrics in one of my fics before and got reported. So to b on the safe side I wouldn't but it is based on opinion.

Maybe because it was so unique, a form of art, and they could easily store things in it and no one had ever done that before. i’m not sure but that’s what i think : )
