Does guillaume de machaut's "i can all too well compare my lady" sound like a romantic or love song to you?

I'd say love song.. I've never listened to it but by the title it doesn't really seem romantic comparing his lady. More like a love song because he's saying he can all too well compare her to another. Like he's bragging about how much he loves her
