Today and tomorrow you will: Learn to observe geometric forms and create a reasonably accurate drawing of them using pencil or graphite. This is a hand -drawn assignment So that you can: Build your drawing skills. Drawing geometric forms helps you draw more complex forms later.

You will know you have it when: Your drawing looks close to the real thing.

STEPS: TODAY ( DAY 1)

1) Setting up a Still-life

Find 3 geometric-like objects around your home and arrange them together on a table in front of you. Try to pick objects that are as plain as possible.

2) Make sure that from your point of view, the object overlap and that each is touching the table surface. That will give you a strong composition (arrangement)

3) find a lamp to light your still life and create shadows

2) Start drawing them by using searching lines which are light sketch lines that help you determine the best outlines.

3) While sketching, check for proportions with your pencil. Make sure all objects are the correct height and width in relation to each other.

4) Upload a picture of your still -life objects ( from the same view you are drawing from)

ALSO upload your drawing of your outlines. This will complete Day 1.
