animes are usually semi or fully fictional worlds that have either a lot of episodes, or barely any(shortest I know is 12 episodes- or if you take into account movies.) These realities have their own characters, usually a group of protagonists, and a group of protagonists to have some sort of battle, some animes even make you be the judge of the good and bad side. Usually the characters would need a place to be, or even for special moment- complete emptiness- giving us settings and such.
