Why is it important for designers to use the human figure in
evaluating scale within a design?

By using scale to make an element larger than others appearing with it, you can emphasise that element. Not only can you make an element stand out this way—you can also use scale to create a sense of depth (since nearer objects appear larger to the human eye).

1 - since it's a library, i'd like putting a sculpture from ancient greece, probably from the hellenistic epoch.

2 - i'd also like the statue to be from a famous person from that time, a philosopher of possible.

3 - i'd want the statue to be of a man sitting down on a tree stump with a book on his hands (either writing or reading), to demonstrate the love for reading.

4 - i'd also like to have the statue with a darkish colour and high contrast, as well as a statue that resembles balance and a little movement on his head if he is reading or on his hand if he's writing.
