1. Previous generations reached "adult" milestones at much younger ages. For example, just two generations ago, it was an adult norm to be married by 18 years old. According to society's standards, do you believe you have reached adulthood (Yes/No/Yes and No)? Just because these adult roles were achieved at younger ages historically, does that mean they are developmentally appropriate or that generation was "better?" What are some benefits to postponing adult roles until later?
