Towards the end of his address, FDR states "I shall ask the Congress for the one remaining instrument to meet the crisis--broad Executive power to wage a war against the emergency, as great as the power that would be given to me if we were in fact invaded by a foreign foe." Identify what this "emergency" is. Do you believe that FDR's call for "broad executive power" in dealing with this crisis is warranted? Is this crisis the equivalent of a war / attack by an enemy? What are the pros and the cons of FDR's request?

the great thing about your imagination is that it doesn't have to make sense! if i were you i would be stuck in space, no communication with earth travelling around and around, you can only guess how long its been since your communication broke down. you land on an undiscovered planet, you do a scientific investigation examining the elements and conditions. you come across alien lifeforms.
