Utilizing a macrosociological perspective, explain how social structure is coercive of group behavior. In other words, how does social structure control us to such a degree that we do not even think about our actions. We merely act robotically, mindlessly or habitually. Give two examples (one paragraph per example). Helpful hint: A macrosociological example would most likely discuss how social institutions (i. e. social institution of education, economy, religion, media, etc.) control the masses without us even realizing we are being controlled.
