The reasons why the developing world has a high population growth are many. These include poor education, lack of contraceptives, poor living conditions, child labor, poverty, lack of water and many others. The developing world is most often in poverty and in harsh living conditions where food or water is not easy to come by. As a result, education suffers since there are not enough people that teach and many people that need education to have to work to provide for their families.

The factors that hinder rates in the developed world such as Europe and boost rates for example in Africa would be education, wealth, living conditions. The developing countries in Africa have a lot worse living conditions than even the poorest countries in Europe. Education is a lot better in Europe than in many African countries and food and water are much more easily accessible in developed countries than in the developing ones.
