If a friend of mine were to confide in me about abuse at home, If it is someone that that the friend is related to (Mom, Dad, Guardian, Sibling, Etc.) I would say to tell someone with the authorities that can be trusted, and if the friend is under 18+, then only do this with a plan of somebody else that the friend can live with as otherwise the person would go in foster care, which is very bad.
